Believe the Hype!

The movie is as great as the trailer makes it out to be!

Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Captain America, along with Black Widow, Hawk and Nick Fury equals Bad Ass!!!!!!

I am not going to say much more other this was one of the better super hero movies! It had all of my favorites combined into one movie!

I really don’t need to say more than that! Great film, great action, cool movie, awesome actors! I for sure will see it ten more times!!

For superheroes alone, 5 out of 5 stars!!

OMG!! I volunteered for Tribeca Film Festival and it was amazing!! It was such a great experience to work with such great people, and I got to see some amazing movies!

They were original an fun and just such good acting, directing, editing, and everything!

Wont go into crazy detail, b/c it will take up too much time, and I won’t be able to really explain how great working with the festival was! All I can say is keep a look out for all the movies, but these in particular

1) Una Noche

2) Stuck

3) Any Day Now

4) Baby Girl

5) Whole lotta Sole

and the Documentary

6) Sexy Baby!

Just all good, inspiring, funny, great acting, well written and edited films that you should see and tell everyone you know about it!

Tribeca gets 5 out of 5 stars for just being a great experience to be a part of!!

You do the work and you want people to see it; but, um while I’m doing the work, the result doesn’t matter at all to me. Ultimately, I don’t, I don’t care whether the film is - you know - some big giant box-office bonanza and I don’t care if its a complete flop. To me, when a film gets made and it’s actually finished it’s a success. They’re all a success in their own way.

Eh…..Not as sweet as the first 3 pieces…………

OK, so don’t get me wrong, I was definitely excited to watch this movie. For nostalgia alone, American Pie was the first raunchy movie I ever watched. I totally watched it behind my parent’s back when they were out on the illegal pay per view we had. And even to this day, I love watching the first one and thinks its so funny, and I first saw it 12 years ago.

This movie did have some funny moments of course. The usual, something embarrassing and painful happening to Jim in the beginning, Stifler doing or something gross happens to him and Finch trying to show off his pretentious attitude.

This is really just the same 4 guys from high school, but instead of trying to lose their virginity, they are just trying to deal with growing up and being adults.

It did of course bring up things from the first film, such as the infamous MILF, Stiflers mom, and a joke or so about sex, and band camp.

Overall I would give a 2.5 out of 5 stars. Not completely horrible, and has some funny moments, and of course if you want a nostalgic moment like me you can go and watch it. But I would just wait until its on dvd.

Reblog if Josh Hutcherson literally gives you sexual frustration

I know the book is always better, but Gary Ross did a good job making this movie!! It is just as good as the book, and its always great seeing what you have imagined. Plus, IMAX always makes things better.

The Hunger Games was really just a great movie!! Jennifer Lawrence did such a great job! I honestly want to be friends with her! She really captured Katniss’s personality, and played the part justice. Josh Hutcherson is a great actor! I loved him as Peeta I know after doing movies like Journey, people don’t give him credit, but he was so good. He  and Jennifer also just had great chemistry together. Plus, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Wes Bentley, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland and Liam Hensworth. Just an overall great cast.

I don’t have to give a synopsis, so I just want to say, everyone should see this movie. It was amazing, phenomenal, emotional. I definitely was clapping and and crying throughout the entire movie. I for sure give it 5 out of 5 stars. If you have not seen it already b/c you have been under a rock clearly, go see it now, and if you have, go see it again in Imax, and if you have seen it in Imax, just do it a second time! This really was just an incredible movie, with great acting, action and emotions, and I just LOVED IT! I’m sure everyone else loved it as well!!

These are reasons why I want to work in film ssssoooooo much!!!!

Everything about filmmaking tries to distract you from that first fine rapturous vision you have of the film.

Filmmaking is a huge privilege; it’s not brain surgery. It’s art, and art is supposed to be an enjoyable process, and it is an enjoyable experience for me.

Ok, so I got to see a special screening of this film thanks to NYWIFT. I also saw it after watching Venus in Fur, and I was already on a Hugh Dancy high, and after this I’m love.

So basically, Hysteria is a movie loosely based on the first invention of the vibrator. In the 1880’s women were suffering from “Hysteria”. They were stressed, sad, angry, and experiencing all emotions at once, and of course men thought that was a disease. So middle class women would go to the doctor and let the doctors masturbate them and give them orgasms. Dancy  plays Dr. Mortimer Granvill. He is a doctor that tries to keep up with science and medicine, instead of the church.  He goes to work for a rich doctor, and learns about Hysteria and how to treat it. With that he encounters the two daughters. One shy and follows the rules, the other played by Maggie Gyllenhaal, a more modern women who believes in all equal rights for women.

So basically, Mortimer does the treatment on these women so often, his hand actually gets injured, cause what he did was so hard for men in the 1880s. Anyway he goes to see his friend and inventor Lord Edmund St. John-Smythe played by Rupert Everett. The doctor uses Lord Edmunds latest invention, the feather duster on his hand, and the vibrations and movements help heal his hand, and of course he realizes, if this can help him, it can surely cure the middle class women who’s husbands send them to the doctor every week just to calm down.

Then with the side story of Charlotte Dalrymple, Maggie Gyllenhaal’s character is doing what she can to to defy society and give women and children of lesser class a chance to learn and be equal with society. She realizes that this women do not have anything medically wrong with them, and Hysteria is nonsense. It just a mans way of thinking there is something wrong with their wives, because they basically cannot please them in bed.

A feel good movie (literally), very good acting, and just funny! I give it a 3 out of 5 stars, plus it was fun at the end, in the credits, they displayed the different types of vibrators throughout the years from the first one, to the rabbit. Hugh and Maggie were great, Rupert was so funny, and it was a very good film overall!

I would definitely recommend people to watch!!
